Sealing a 2200 tonne Grain Silo
This project involved the sealing of 8, 2200 tonne grain silos. The silos are part of the Quaker Oats company. Quaker Oats Australia is located at Forrestfield in Western Australia and is the leading manufacturer and supplier of quality oat products for human consumption. Internationally it is a massive company that is part of the Pepsico Corporation. Thus the company will only use the best products and services for all aspects of its operation.
This includes the sealing of its massive storage silos. The four pictures below show the process and work done by us from start to finish.

Sealing a silo can provide a number of benefits such as:
- Less product is lost from being eaten by insects
- The cost of storage is greatly reduced
- Much less chemical is used, hence, there is less chemical residue in the product, resulting in healthier produce
